Mains versus Wireless Networking

The ethernet over mains option is so simple to install and use that it must be considered when thinking about a "wireless" network. Just remove one from its box, plug it into the mains socket and connect its ethernet cable to your router, or a hub providing a LAN connection, and then just plug the other device into the mains and connect the cable to an ethernet port on a PC or a hub and it is as if they were both connected by a physical network cable!
